    Candle Care Tips

    Storage
    Heat and direct, bright sunlight should be avoided as it can cause discoloration and melt the wax. Store candles in a cool, dry place with the lid on to preserve scent and keep out dust.

    First Burn
    Allow the wax to melt to the edges to prevent tunneling on the first burn. This is typically 2-3 hours depending on the candle size.

    Trim the Wick
    Trim the wick before every burn. You want the wick to be about 1/4 inch to ensure a steady flame and an even melt. This will also prevent mushrooming, soot, and overheating of the candle.

    Burn for 3-4 Hours Max
    For the best results, extinguish your candle around 4 hours. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, and then relight. This prevents overheating, wick mushrooming, and the scent from degrading.
